The International Association of Conference Interpreters is a global organisation representing more than 3000 professionals around the world. It is a bilingual non-profit association with its administrative headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

To strengthen our team, we are recruiting a Membership & Support Officer based in Bangkok to assist our members and applicants in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. The position will include daily tasks and fixed-term projects.

The successful candidate will work in a team of two in Bangkok and with the Headquarters in Geneva (staff of 3-4).

Core duties:
  • Manage and update the internal database
  • Prepare and publish internal and external communications
  • Publish content on our website
  • Assist applicants with our online application processes
  • Assist members of the Association with their portals
  • Assist AIIC groups with their activities
  • Assist and respond to external parties
  • Participate in various projects to sustain the growth of AIIC
  • Help liaise with local service providers


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Thai national
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • Fluent English and Thai (excellent writing and speaking skills), proficiency in other languages such as Chinese welcome
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Comfortable with digital environments
  • Perfect command of Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Google Workspace
  • Knowledge of Web languages (HTML – CSS) and websites management desirable

The selected candidate will receive an initial training of 4 weeks before becoming operational.

During the selection process, technical skills will be tested, and particular attention will be paid to the personality of the candidates we meet. Our primary objective is to hire an assistant who shares our values, is able to integrate into our corporate culture and is looking for a stable, long-term position.
