If you you think you might prefer to attend an in-person version of this workshop and are able to travel to Brussels, please watch this space, as we hope to organise an in-person edition of this note-taking refresher later this year.

Online consecutive note-taking refresher

Helen Campbell will lead a workshop online (Zoom) for professional interpreters who want to consolidate their note-taking skills for consecutive interpreting.

This three-day workshop targets professional conference interpreters who feel their note-taking skills are getting rusty and would like to go “back to basics” to build up a progression over the three days (for dates and times, see below).

Helen Campbell, an experienced conference interpreter and interpreter trainer, as well as an engaging public speaker, will explain her note-taking strategies to help make you feel more at ease with your next consecutive assignment.

Workshop details

This workshop will be held in English. Depending on language profiles of participants, other languages may be used, in which case some speech preparation by participants would be needed.

You will need a reliable internet connection, using cable, a headset and microphone.
