Training interpreters in a digital world

Training of Trainers (ToT) with Josh Goldsmith in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
16-17 December 2023

About the ToT

In the last few years, many interpreting courses have adopted hybrid or fully online approaches. A wealth of technological tools – from everyday devices like smartphones and tablets to computer-assisted interpreting tools, speech recognition engines and Artificial Intelligence – have also changed the way students learn and interpreters work.

In this two-day ToT course, we’ll explore the most cutting-edge developments for trainers and take a deep dive into training interpreters in a digital world.

The interactive workshop will include ample time for hands-on testing and discussion. Please bring a laptop, and if possible, a headset or USB microphone + headphones. If you have a tablet and stylus, bring them, too!
