Set against the backdrop of one of the world's most culturally diverse cities, we welcomed members from different parts of the region to the meeting. It was also a great delight to see several pre-candidates onsite. 

Shortly after the confirmation of quorum, the Bureau gave full and detailed reports on various activities in the past 6 months, such as initiatives at the central level, the financial status of the region, PR & outreach events as well as updates on the websites. Attendees were also provided with information on working conditions at the European Institutions and UN organizations. Last but by no means the least, Sign Language colleagues outlined their ground-breaking activities with the ISO. 

Despite a packed agenda, the meeting finished on time (more or less) and concluded with well-deserved refreshments for the participants.
