Blessed under the auspices of Internation Translation Day 2023, AIIC UK&I held its hybrid autumn regional meeting on the 30th Sepember.

Despite train stikes in London and other parts of the UK, we kept calm and carried on. Many memebers made to the meeting in person and many more joined in online. After estblishing quorum, the meeting went into full swing with detailed updates on AIIC's activities and initiatives at the central level, reports from the regional secretary, treasurer, PR officer, webmaster and outreach representatives. We also had the privilege of listening to colleagues' reports on the UN and EU, private markets and ISO. Questions were asked and answers were given. We saw many happy faces in the room and lots of thumbs up online for the brilliant reports and updates shared by memebers of the organisation.
