Welcome to AIIC Netherlands! We may not be very big, but our 43 members agree that we are a friendly, welcoming region.

Life in AIIC Netherlands has been changing in recent years. In the not-too-distant past, our members were mostly staff interpreters, working exclusively for courts and tribunals in The Hague. But times are changing and today members of AIIC Netherlands work on the private market and in education, as well as for the tribunals.


But legal interpreting remains important in our region and we are proud of the annual Legal Symposium we first hosted in The Hague almost 20 years ago. Each year we invite speakers from the fields of interpreting and justice to discuss issues that affect our work.
