As the only Portuguese-speaking country in Latin America, and with a land mass of continental proportions both in area and diversity of cultures and regions, Brazil gets to be its own region within AIIC. 

AIIC members are based in several cities across Brazil.  Working almost exclusively in private market sectors in key areas such as Energy, Oil&Gas, Environmental Policies, Medicine, Agribusiness, Law and Human Rights, among others, AIIC interpreters in Brazil have also accumulated a vast experience in major events such as the World Social Forum, Earth Summits, Olympic Games and the World Cup.
