Our first Regional Meeting in 2022 was held on Saturday 19^th of March. Although restrictions had been lifted, the meeting took place online which encouraged an excellent turnout from our members. The agenda was very full, as usual: an update by our Regional Secretary/AB Member, followed by reports from Bureau members on the activities and developments over the last few months. Updates on the EU and the UN situation were also shared by members. Participants also had a discussion on how to support Ukraine in light of the recent situation. Members were pleased to see the UK&I Region joined forces with other UK based professional associations by establishing the UK’s Ukraine Language Support Task Force.

It was the first meeting since our new Regional Bureau took office. Members at the meeting expressed their gratitude for the new Bureau and showed their support for future regional activities.
