This in-person training event with Anja Rütten will be held in German and will focus on the use of AI-powered and other tools which can be used to prepare for interpreting assignments. In addition to hands-on advice, the course will also address general aspects such as AI and confidentiality, professional ethics, the difference between AI and non-AI-based tools etc.


Registration and fees:

AIIC members, candidates and pre-candidates: free
Members of Austrian translators’ and interpreters’ associations*: 85 CHF (90 EUR)
All other non-members: 115 CHF (120 EUR)

The registration fee includes water, tea/coffee and finger food.

The trainer: Anja Rütten is a freelance conference interpreter for German (A), Spanish (B), English (C), and French (C) based in Düsseldorf, Germany, and works on the private and institutional markets. She has a PhD in “information and knowledge management in conference interpreting” and has specialised in this area since the mid-1990s. She is a member of AIIC and an experienced university lecturer.
